Nigeria We hail thee

NIGERIA We hail theee!!!
Sometimes we are proud of You
Another time we feel ashamed
We were told and we see
The richness of the land

Our heroes are still weeping
Yet Our leaders are celebrating

Our land never lost its virtue
But we Nigerians have lost our identity

Many claim dual citizens
Cos we have no pride in the things of our land
The journey to other Lands continue

We created systems that never work to its potential
Created laws broken by its makers and enforcers

Our Religious leaders Preach Unity but within  them there are discords

Celebrating Religion neglecting its values

Moral values are missing
Entertainment over poverty

We are subject to grant not cos we are poor
In actual sense we are sick!
Our leaders are sick
Our Systems are malfunctioning

Some of Our religious leaders are sick
Let them preach what they do
Nigeria will be great again
When Justice and peace are sustained

Nigeria
we Hail theeee
Our heroes
We hail thee

Oh Lord we pray THEE
Heal Our land !!!
