53rd independence anniversary

Today, Nigeria marks its 53rd independence anniversary. The memories of our past are still alive when Heroes fought for our freedom and save our rights so as to maintain our unity. They had dreams for better today but their dreams are far from being reality. Many things are wrong; Let's talk of
1. The standard of education
2. The standard of living of an average Nigerian
3. Corruption
4. Security and their likes

Are we truly celebrating Independence 2013?

In a country where the lifes of its citizens are not safe; People kill at will"" Celebrating today only brings about the pains in the land.

It's still on going

The ASUU strike is on ; 1st October 2013 marks the 91st day of the strike. The future of our land is ruining. DON'T they have solution to the demands?

My view

Most leaders are not patriotic. They live for themselves alone not minding the state of the masses.
The love that binds us together is still strong but our set of leaders are bad. We are tired of speeches, promises and wishes; what we need is their actions toward a better Nigeria. We need Leaders that can fight, save and give us our rights and maintain our unity.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA!
